A few weeks ago, my sons, ages 9 and 5, were watching some cartoons on television. There was some anime series on that I wasn’t familiar with, so I decided to do a little Internet browsing until it was time to leave for the oldest’s football game. About 30 minutes later, my 9 year old busts into my office, telling me all about the Bakugan Battle Brawlers, and how he just HAS to have them soon. He made me do a search for these Bakugan Battle Brawlers, or whatever they were. Now, I am not one to buy my kids toys “just because,” so I told him he’d have to wait to Christmas.

After much begging, debating, and negotiating, we decided if my son made two field goals (he’s the kicker for his team), I would get him a set of Bakugan Battle Brawlers in place of his allowance for the week. I don’t want to say I doubted my son would make even 1 field goal, as he has set to do it all season. Well, needless to say, my son made his two field goals, and an impressive punt, so the Bakugan Battle Brawlers were all his. We headed to the toy store right after the game.

For the next few days, I didn’t hear or see much of my son. Every time I stepped into his room, his Bakugan Battle Brawlers were in the middle of the floor, with him and his brother sitting around them. It wasn’t long before my younger son wanted his own Bakugan Battle Brawlers. He must have gotten his negotiating skills from his brother, because he won me over quickly, and we were in route to the toy store for another set of Bakugan Battle Brawlers.

I have never known a toy that could bring two siblings closer together than the Bakugan Battle Brawlers. As soon as they come home from school and do their homework, they are battling. They take a small break for supper, and they are right back at it. My oldest has taught his little brother exactly how to play, and the two of them go at it for hours. The best thing about them playing with the Bakugan Battle Brawlers is there is no arguing during it!

My oldest son is now deciding that the Bakugan Battle Brawlers sets that each of them has are not enough, and he and his brother are talking about putting their saved allowances together to pay more Bakugan toys. This is totally amazing me, as before they each had to have their own things, and were not really willing to play with each other. Now, they are willing to share their Bakugan Battle Brawlers and all the accessories that come with them. As I am writing this, my two boys are browsing a toy catalog and trying to decide if they want to buy more Bakugan Battle Brawlers sets or get a Booster Pack.

It was definitely a small price to pay for me to purchase two Bakugan Battle Brawlers for which my sons have had a wonderful time bonding while paying.

Are you looking for an alternative fun activity to do with your children this coming weekend? Already tired of playing Wii, Playstation or Xbox for hours every time? Do you want an activity that would foster creativity and stimulate the imagination of your children? Then why don’t you plan to make paper airplanes for kids?

One of the advantages of making paper airplanes for kids is the fact that it is a very affordable activity. Truth is, all you will need to make paper airplanes for kids are some paper and scissors. If you want to make your airplanes unique, then you can color it and make designs on it with the use of colored pencils, markers, colored paper and glue. But the most important thing to have when making paper airplanes for kids is your imagination. Indeed, the number of paper airplane designs that you can make is limited only by your creativity. If you have the materials mentioned above and an abundance of creativity, then for sure you will have a grand time making paper airplanes for kids.

In making paper airplanes for kids, like in any other activities in life, the process is more important than the result. Don’t stress yourself with making the perfect design that will make the airplane stay in the air for a long time. Make building and designing paper airplanes a collaborative effort between you and your child. Have fun experimenting in different designs. The key to creating a model that works is plenty of trial and error. Take note of design changes with every model that you make so you can improve on them later on.

The most fun part of building paper airplanes for kids is in taking your designs for a test flight. You and your child can both cheer as you watch your creations glide and soar in the air. For sure, you and your kid will feel a great sense of achievement as you relish on the success of your endeavor. Don’t get disappointed when your airplane does not perform as expected though. Just go back to the drawing board and have fun remodeling your aircraft.

If you need some great design ideas for paper airplanes for kids, you could search th Internet for books and resources on making these wonderful flying things.

Based on the game from a popular anime TV series, Bakugan toys are becoming a must have for children all over the world. They were first distributed in Japan, and haven’t gained enough popularity in the USA and Canada just yet for them to become a household name like Pokemon, Yugioh, and Mario. However, Bakugan toys are quickly gaining ground, and have already made their place on several “Hottest Toys of the Year” lists. Since they haven’t been around for years, parents may not have a clue what their child is talking about when they begin to ask for Bakugan toys. The name itself may seem a little scary, so read on to find out more about this hot new toy line.

Buy Bakugan Toys

Bakugan toys are modeled around the television show of the same name. It the series, the children battle with their Bakugan toys. They typically consist of marbles that morph into characters and cards that are used during the game play. Each character has its own attribute, color, and G power which will assist it in the battles of the Bakugan toys. Series 2 has recently been released that includes even more characters to play with.

To play the game, only a few Bakugan toys are needed. A Bakugan Starter Pack will help you get into playing the game, and you can always purchase the other accessories to strength your battling abilities. The game is played very similar to the way it is done in the show. It is considered a trading card game, while a bit of marbles mixed in. You begin the game by shooting your Bakugan toy marbles in sphere mode. When two Backugan toys land on the same card, the pair must battle.

Buy Bakugan Toys

Total G Power decides who wins in each battle, which is why it is important to have a variety of Bakugan toys. Having the highest G powers possible will allow you to win almost every battle you face. Game play continues until one player has captured all the cards. After the score is tallied, the person with the most Holo Secret Points (HSP) is the champion. Bakugan toys are often battled in an arena, but you can use any flat surface.

Though it may seem hard to a beginner, especially if they don’t even know what Bakugan toys are, but the game is actually quite entertaining once you get the hang of it. It is basically the next generation in anime style toys, following the likes of Pokemon and Yugioh. What makes Bakugan toys stand out, however, is that the game in which they are used is very similar to the one played in the show of the same name. Pokemon creators couldn’t come close to what Bakugan toys can in terms of similarity between the show and the real life game.

Bakugan toys are becoming the next big thing, so do not be surprised when your child starts begging you for a “Juggernoid Translucent Preyos,” or any other jumble of words. They are actually talking about Bakugan toys, one of the hottest toy lines of the year.

I’ve been making paper airplanes for about 30 years. As a kid I loved to make them. They are easy to make using simply one piece of paper and if it breaks, you just make another one.

Now I am older and have 3 boys of my own. One day they came and asked me to make one for them. So I began to create the same one that my dad built for me many years ago. After throwing it around the room, the top of the stairs and off the deck, I began to wonder what other kinds of airplanes I could make for my kids. I looked around for awhile on the web and found that most of the sites were really bad. So I decided to make one.

Here is the site I made. It has some books and a few of the videos I found helpful.
